Professional Statement🌻
I am a registered counsellor trained in Malaysia. In my practice, I prioritise creating a safe, non-judgmental space where my clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and concerns freely. I focus on my clients as the experts themselves, aiming to help them reach their full potential by accepting and valuing them, being honest and transparent, and offering unconditional positive regard.
I have experience working with mentally and physically disabled individuals and their families, which has deepened my understanding of carers’ emotions and challenges. My time working at universities has increased my interactions with young adults, allowing me to see and address their unique needs. Additionally, my service in various non-profit organisations has given me the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy taking quiet walks to appreciate the scenery, finding peace and reflection in solitary moments. I also have a passion for crafts, discovering and appreciating myself through various handmade creations.
“Together, we’ll embark on a journey of growth, resilience, and self-discovery.”
